From 2005 to 2018, the number of positive mosquito pools in the Middlesex-London fluctuated, with greatest number reported in 2012 (n=17).
The number of West Nile virus infections reported among Middlesex-London residents was low, with 34 confirmed and probable cases reported between 2005 and 2018. Year over year the number of reported cases fluctuated, peaking in 2018 (n=12).
The number of West Nile virus positive mosquito pools and the number of reported cases were both highest in 2012 and 2018. However, there did not appear to be a strong association between positive mosquito pools and human cases outside of those years.
