Canadian Community Health Survey [2015-2016], Statistics Canada, Share File, Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term CareMales (56.3%) had a much higher proportion of binge drinking or drinking more than four drinks on one occasion in the past year than females (36.3%). For females, binge drinking is defined as drinking more than three drinks on one occasion in the past year.
The difference was statistically significant.
