Source:
Canadian Community Health Survey [2015–16], Statistics Canada, Share File, Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term CareOver 98% of the youth population between the ages of 12–17 reported completely abstaining from cigarettes in their lifetime. The percent in Middlesex-London was higher compared to Ontario (94.5%), but the difference was not statistically significant. Due to small sample sizes, socioeconomic factors such as income and education could not be examined for youth abstinence.
