Rate of salmonellosis infections reported per 100,000 population, Middlesex-London and Ontario, 2005 to 2018
Both the local and provincial rates of salmonellosis infections fluctuated between 2005 and 2018.
In general, the local rate of salmonellosis infections was similar to or lower than the provincial rate except in 2017, when the Middlesex-London rate was significantly higher than the Ontario rate. This difference was due to a large community salmonella outbreak that occurred in that year.
